Tampines Mall:
We went in with high confidence, thinking that it will be so easy just for a simple hello. But we were shocked to find few HBs walking around. I did the best I could, usually saying a simple "Hi! How are you?" I had a few approaches, but their responses were cold. Most of them looked down after clearing hearing my greeting. The worst just stared at me or looked at me with the why-the-hell-are-you-talking-to-me look. How demoralizing.
Century Square:
After the mall, we knew it was difficult as hell to get any response at all. Century Square was even more void of HBs, but we trudged on, with very few hits.
Tampines Bus Interchange:
Oh yeah! A cute pair of women talking to each other said hi back after my approach. It does feel good that my objective is complete. Mus didn't have as much luck, but he did approach.
Conclusion:
Nice one. We oughta do this again, maybe in a larger setting and on a freer day.
