So I booked out and was on my way to meet my friends at Tiong Bahru. A colleague was with me and we sat down and just did our own thing: I popped my earphones on and he ipod-ed.
Getting to Jurong East, these two incredible looking HBs walked in. At first I didn't pay any attention cause they look like china girls, but I took off my earphones anyway to listen in just in case they spoke english. And lo and behold, they spoke great english. Both HB8s, but one struck me for some reason, so I made her my target. I closed my book, took out my rubberbands from my bag and began:
Me: Hi guys, could you guys ive me an opinion on something?
Both: (stared at me) OK.
Me: Does my friend look gay? (I point to my friend)
Both: Uh, no not really.
Me: Wanna hear a funny story? Last week we went to MOS, and we were hanging out at the bar when this guy comes up and hits on him! We knew the guy looked gay cause he sounded gay, but my friend here...
Target: Ya, some people are like that when you go to clubs.
Me: Oh, I know.
Both: Well, he doesn't look gay.
Me: Hey, Yisheng, you're ok, you don't look gay.
Yisheng: Haha, thanks.
Me: Fluff, fluff, blah blah blah.
Target: I think NUS is way more international than NTU.
Me: What?! How do you know that? You haven't started school yet. (I turn to the HB8 friend) Is your friend always so presumptuous? Geez!
HB8: Hahahaha
Then I did Style's best friends test on them when they said that they lived together on campus and were friends for 2 years:
Me: Nope, you don't have to answer. You already passed. You see, when I asked the question, both of you looked at each other as if you were communicating on another level, without even talking. You know each other. You were reading each other's mind.
Both: Hahaha, yeah.
Target: But why did you use shampoo?
Me: What?
Target: Couldn't you have something else, like lipstick?
Me: Ok then, let's do it again. Do you two use the same lipstick?
Both: (Looking at each other)
Me: You don't have to answer, cause you passed!
Both: HAHAHA
Well, I ended up not closing either of them. I don't know what happened again. I guess I'm nervous to close. I passed my station, so I just said bye to them and that it was a nice conversation. Two nice ones got away again. They were 19, and we just beginning NTU. Would have been good dates.
